About Hevea Wood (Rubber Wood)

Hevea wood grows in managed plantations in South East Asia where it is grown primarily for it's rubber. Once it stops producing teh latex, the trees are felled and systematically replaced.

As it is grown only in managed plantations, you can buy with confidence knowing that you are supporting developing cultures and not contributing to any deforestation since these trees are replaced every time they are felled.
